Consulting
Creating clarity so your business can operate with less pressure
I work with business owners who feel stretched by growth, complexity, or operational pressure — often because key work lives in their heads, roles are unclear, and the business relies too heavily on their constant involvement.
My consulting work focuses on bringing clarity and structure to how the business operates, so that decisions are easier, work flows more consistently, and the business can function without everything sitting with the owner.
How I work
Consulting engagements are intentionally short, focused, and practical.
Rather than open-ended advisory work, I work in contained engagements that help businesses:
-
clarify how work actually flows
-
document key processes
-
define roles and decision boundaries
-
establish a simple operating rhythm
The aim is not to fix everything at once, but to create enough structure and clarity for the business to operate more steadily and intentionally.
A typical engagement
Most clients engage me through a 3–4 week Operations Clarity & Alignment engagement, designed to reduce operational pressure and owner dependency.
What this typically includes:
Operational clarity
-
Understanding how work currently flows
-
Identifying where things break down, stall, or depend on individuals
Workflow documentation
-
Documenting 3–5 key workflows that are central to the business
-
Keeping documentation practical and usable, not theoretical
Role & decision clarity
-
Clarifying the administrator’s role
-
Defining decision rights and escalation points
Operating rhythm
-
Establishing a simple monthly and weekly alignment structure
-
Supporting more intentional planning, review, and execution
Close-out & next steps
-
A handover session
-
Clear visibility of what is now stable and what may need deeper work later.
This type of engagement is typically priced at R20,000 (excluding VAT), scoped upfront.
How this work usually begins
Consulting engagements usually begin with a short conversation to understand:
-
how the business currently operates
-
where pressure and dependency sit
-
what kind of clarity would be most useful
From there, a focused scope of work is agreed upfront.
